BCSOT strongly recommends that all BCSOT members carry personal liability insurance in addition to the basic coverage offered by public sector employers. Hospital, clinic and other employer plans do not offer the Legal Expense Reimbursement or Criminal Defense Reimbursement included in our program. Neither do employer’s plans cover personal liability for volunteer or pro bono work, again offered by the BCSOT plan.
